Back to listParis, September 3–7, 2011: At this year's 24th ECNP (European College of Neuropsychopharmacology) congress a satellite symposium with over 700 delegates attending entitled “Effective long-term treatment of schizophrenia: are we there yet?” was held in Paris on September 5, 2011. The symposium discussed various aspects of schizophrenia treatment, including the challenge of partial/nonadherence to medication, the question of treatment duration, and the role of long-acting injectable (LAI) antipsychotics in the management of patients with schizophrenia.
